As I write this final editorial as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Scholarly Engagement, I’m struck by how every step of this work has been communal. Editing a journal is not a solo performance; it is a sustained act of trust and collaboration. Authors sow the seeds of inquiry, reviewers nurture and refine those ideas, and readers carry the harvest into new contexts. Along the way, our editorial staff and board provide steady guidance and tireless support, ensuring the journal continues to thrive. My role has simply been to tend the garden and keep the conversations flourishing, but the vitality has always come from all of you.
